Music in Worship

Chancel Choir. The Chancel Choir meets on Tuesday evenings from 7:45-8:45 and sings regular anthems, introits, and responses for our 11:00 am Sunday worship service. They also provide music leadership for most of our special worship services, such as the Christmas Eve Lovefeast and the Maundy Thursday service.

Handbell Choirs. The mission of all the handbell choirs at Churchland is to develop our ringing talents and use them to praise God. We have two handbell choirs.

• Adult Ringers – They rehearse during the school year on Tuesday evenings from 6:30-7:30.
• Youth Ringers – They rehearse on Sunday mornings during the school year from 9:00-9:45. This group is open to youth in grades 7-12.
