Sunday Morning Bible Study
We believe that faith is formed and grows in the context of relationships, through dialogue with others. We encourage you to find ways to be connect with other adults through our Sunday Morning Bible Study, which meets weekly from 9:45-10:45.
Our ongoing classes include:
Explorers. A coed group of mid-20s to early-30s, including adults who are single, married adults, and those with preschool children. Using a teaching team this group follows a discussion approach on a variety of topics. The group meets in Room 212.
Foundations. A coed group of 30s-40s, including parents of older preschoolers-youth. The group meets in Room 234.
Pathfinders. A coed group of 40s-50s, including those continuing in careers as well as early retirees. The group meets in Room 230.
Seekers. A coed group of 50s-60s which includes retirees and those still involved in careers. The group meets in Room 107.
Special Studies. A coed group of 40s and older that follow a lecture presentation to Bible study, focusing on a wide variety of Biblical themes and “special studies.” Studies are biblically based, often consistent with the Christian season. The group meets in Room 208.
Intergenerational. A coed group of diverse individuals which crosses traditional age guidelines. Open to all ages, study revolves around open discussion and dialogue using relevant books, devotional classics and other topics of interest. The group meets in Room 111.
Esther-Rachel. A women’s group for those 70 and older using a lecture approach. This group uses a rotating team of teachers and meets in Room 109.
Fellowship. A men’s group for those 60 and older using a lecture approach. The group meets in Room 110.
SHORT-TERM STUDIES
In addition to our ongoing classes which meet weekly, we provide throughout the year more focused studies for shorter periods of time (usually 4-6 weeks). For more information about these groups, or any of the small groups currently meeting in our church, contact the church office or Dan Koger.
